12/19 Day1
みなさん、こんばんは。応援ありがとうございました。
結果は74-89ということで15点差の敗戦となりました。率直な感想として15点差の試合内容ではないと感じていますし、74点のオフェンスでも18回のターンオーバーしていてケアレスなものやトラップにひっかかったというよりも注意するべきところでやられた部分だったりがありました。フリースローも12/24ということで、現状我々はアタックがしたくてもできない状況なのでフリースローラインに立つことが難しいんですが、ジョーンズ選手が入ってきてから果敢にバスケットに向かって攻めてくれますし、そういった面ではフリースローラインに立つ回数も増えてきますのでしっかりそれを決め切りたいというところはあります。ただ、そういったマイナスはありながらも74点はしっかりとっていて、ディフェンスもターンオーバーで走られた失点があったにも関わらず、3つのクウォーターでは割と抑えられているので、そう考えれば点差以上に拮抗していたなという風に思っています。
ただ、1日で詰められそうなところがいくつかあるので、明日もう少しオフェンスで決まっているところをうまく流れるようにするというところが一つ。ディフェンス面ではもっとクウォーターの失点を1桁につめられた部分もあったので、そこの流れをしっかり手繰り寄せるためにもディフェンスの強度をずっと落とさないということが大事です。このチームはオフェンスの波をディフェンスに影響させちゃいけないというところをもう少しできるようになれば、ベンチメンバーが入ってきた時にエナジーを出してもらってスタートもそれに応えてしっかりと高いエナジーでプレーをし続けられるようになっていくと思います。これから巻き返すためにとにかくそこができなければいけない。19連勝中の群馬さんですが勝てるチャンスはあると思いますし、選手たちも自信を持ってやってくれているところはあるので、もう2,3歩頑張ります。より高いエナジーを見ていただけるように選手たちは今日のうちから準備していますので明日もう一歩戦えるように頑張ります。この状況でもこうして会場に来てくださったり、温かい言葉がけなどしてくださる方がたくさんいて、本当に力になっています。なんとか勝って選手たちの笑顔をお見せしたいと思っていますので、引き続き応援よろしくお願いします！

The result was 74-89, so we lost by 15 points. Frankly speaking, I don’t think the game was worth the 15 points. We had 18 turnovers in the 74-point offense, and some of them were careless, and some of them were done when we should have been careful rather than getting caught in traps. Our free throws were 12/24, so it’s difficult to get to the free-throw line because we can’t attack even if we wanted to, but since Jones came in, he’s been attacking the basket boldly, and in that aspect, we’ll be able to get to the free-throw line more often. I want to make sure that we make the right decisions. However, despite those negative factors, we still managed to score 74 points, and even though we had some turnovers on defense, we were able to hold them at bay in the three quarters, so if you think about it, I think we were more competitive than the point difference.
However, there are a few things we can work on in one day, so one thing we need to do tomorrow is to make our offense flow better. On the defensive side, we were able to get our quarterback goals down to single digits, so it’s important that we keep up our defensive intensity in order to get that flow going. If this team can learn not to let the offensive surge affect the defense a little more, I think they will be able to respond to the energy of the bench members when they come in and continue to play with high energy. Gunma is on a 19-game winning streak, but I think we have a chance to win, and the players are doing it with confidence, so we’ll try a few more steps. The players have been preparing since today so that you can see a higher level of energy, so we will do our best to fight one more step tomorrow. Even in this situation, there are many people who come to the venue and give us warm words of encouragement, which really helps us. We want to win this game and show the smiles on the faces of our players, so please continue to support us!

みなさん、こんばんは。今日も応援ありがとうございました。
連勝中の群馬さんと昨日今日と試合をさせてもらって、残念ながら結果は2連敗となってしまったんですけれども、自分たちがやろうとしているディフェンスを高い強度でしっかりやれば、どんなチームともこういった試合ができると証明できた試合かなという風に思います。特に昨日も今日も若手の成長が素晴らしい。もちろん25得点した岡田選手やしばらく苦労していたナナ選手といった中心選手がよく活躍してくれたというのもありますが、若手の紺野、久岡、栗原、ケイン、高木といった若手や、僕が中堅として捉えている坂井もいい仕事をしてくれました。綿貫もまだ本調子ではありませんが7分で4本のリバウンドを取ってきたりとしっかりと仕事をしてくれて、ベンチでも助けてくれました。輪島もよくチームを支えてくれているので、なんとかチーム一丸で一矢報いたかったというところではありました。よかったところはそれぞれありました、その一方で勝ってなんぼの世界なので…土俵に立つというのはプロとして当たり前。そんな中で相手がどこでも、どんな状況でもこうした試合ができるということが少しずつ見えてきています。あとは勝ち切るというフェーズに行かなければいけないので、最後シュートで終わり切れていないところとかそこをどうやってチームとしてどう解決していくかというところもやっていかなければいけないと思っています。
年内本当にいろいろなことがあって苦労した序盤だったんですが、選手たちは頑張っていますしスタッフも頑張ってくれています。何より皆さんの応援やスポンサー様、会社のバックアップもあってこうして自分たちはバスケットを続けられているので、年内最後のホームゲームは皆さんと一緒に笑顔で終われるようにしっかり準備をして頑張りたいと思います。なんとか勢いにのってこの1年終わりたいので、熱い応援をよろしくお願いします。

Unfortunately, we lost two games in a row, but I think we were able to prove that we can play a game like this against any team if we play the defense we are trying to play with high intensity. In particular, both yesterday and today, the growth of the young players was fantastic. Of course, central players such as Okada, who scored 25 points, and Nana, who had been struggling for a while, played well, but young players such as Konno, Hisaoka, Kurihara, Kane, Takagi, and Sakai, who I consider to be a midfielder, also did a good job. Watanuki is not at his best yet, but he did a good job grabbing 4 rebounds in 7 minutes and helped us on the bench. Wajima has also been supporting the team well, so we wanted to make a team-wide effort. We all had our good points, but on the other hand, winning is the only thing that matters in this world…standing in the ring is a natural part of being a professional. I’m gradually starting to see that I can play this kind of game no matter where my opponent is or what the situation is. Now we need to move on to the phase where we can win the game, so we need to work on how to solve the problems as a team, such as not being able to finish with a shot at the end.
It was a difficult first half of the year with many things happening, but the players are working hard and the staff is doing a great job. The players are doing their best and the staff is doing their best. Above all, we are able to continue playing basketball thanks to the support of everyone, our sponsors, and our company, so we will do our best to prepare for our last home game of the year so that we can end it with a smile on our faces.
